Grupo Editorial <\/strong>(PRHGE) is building a new <strong>automated logistics centre<\/strong> in Cerdanyola del Vall\u00e8s (Barcelona), which is set to become the hub of the group\u2019s distribution operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p>L\u2019impianto nasce per rispondere all\u2019evoluzione dei modelli di vendita editoriali e alla crescente complessit\u00e0 della <a href=\"https:\/\/www.erreviautomation.com\/en\/effective-strategies-for-optimising-logistics-and-supply-chain-management\/\">supply chain logistica<\/a>, con l\u2019obiettivo di garantire maggiore flessibilit\u00e0, scalabilit\u00e0 e performance end-to-end.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"picking-automation-integration-between-amrs-and-goodstoperson-systems\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1efa50059caa932d4df65966c9a1859b\" style=\"color:#585c61\"><strong>Picking automation: integration between AMRs and goods-to-person systems<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.erreviautomation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/exotec-skypod.jpg\" alt=\"Exotec Skypod\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>The project involves two key technologies for automated <strong>piece picking<\/strong>, both based on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.erreviautomation.com\/en\/solutions\/goods-to-person\/amr\/\">AMR robots<\/a>, integrated with a conveyor system running the entire length of the logistics flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the one hand, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.erreviautomation.com\/en\/solutions\/picking\/\">picking solution<\/a> for high-turnover products has been implemented using a fleet of follow-me AMRs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>On the other hand, for medium- and low-turnover SKUs, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.erreviautomation.com\/en\/solutions\/goods-to-person\/skypod-system-by-exotec\/\">Exotec\u2019s Skypod\u00ae<\/a><\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.erreviautomation.com\/en\/solutions\/goods-to-person\/\">goods-to-person <\/a><\/strong>system has been implemented, allowing operators to work from fixed stations, thereby significantly increasing productivity.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this context, efficiency levels can be up to <strong>five times higher than in a traditional warehouse,<\/strong> with improved ergonomic managing medium- and low-turnover stock items.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.erreviautomation.com\/en\/anthropomorphic-robots\/\">Autonomous mobile robots<\/a> collect containers directly from
