The Challenge
One of the most complex challenges was to optimize space, making it necessary to fit the storage structure into a vault, a solution designed to meet particularly stringent dimensional constraints.
With a height of about three meters, the structure is equipped with two multilevel systems Shuttle Titan for the handling of cassettes, a conveyor, as well as manual bays for picking and automatic bays for exchange with AGV shuttles.
The aim was to improve process efficiency, ensuring more precise traceability of production data, and more stringent quality control, Optimised stock management and greater flexibility in the rotation of staff working in the warehouse bays.
It was also possible to integrate two order preparation processes, previously managed in separate factories, optimising the workflow and speeding up the processing times.
